I woke up today so nervous, because Alex had to go to the dentist to get a filling. They had to put her under IV sedation. I didn't know what to expect but it went very well and she did so good. I'm so glad its over with. Dominic is doing good. He is getting so big. I can't believe he's 8 months now. He's trying to crawl forward, I say that because he can go backwards. Pretty fast too. I call him my little crawfish. Darrell comes home tomorrow, I can't wait. I could use a break! I thank god for my mom and his mom everyday to help me out when I need help but its not like having him home. I hope Darrell gets to come home soon or we go where he's at so we can be a family again. Well I better get things done while the kiddos are asleep....Unitil next time

Getting started...

OK so I've never done this before so I really don't know what to say or talk about so I'll just go with the flow.....

I went to my department Christmas party tonight, had a really good time. I brought Dominic with me, everybody thought he was so cute and was ooh in and aw win over him. Because I'm his mother I think he is a beautiful baby but it makes me feel so good that so many people compliment me on him and what a good baby he is. Alexandria didn't want to go with me tonight cause she was tired. So she stayed at Grandmas to play. I wish she would of come I think she would of had fun but oh well.

I can't believe Christmas is around the corner. I have about all the shopping done that I was planning on doing. Don't you hate when you weren't planning on getting someone a present for Christmas but they get you something so then you feel obligated to get that person something. I hate that!! I'm really looking forward to Christmas though. I love the decorations! Alex LOVES the tree and the lights. It is so fun this year with her. We went to hallmark the other day and picked out Dominic's first ornament and Alex picked out a Barbie Ballerina. I put it up on the tree and she had a fit! I tried to tell her it needs to go on the tree but she's like whatever. She was so cute though trying to pick out her ornament.
Only a couple more weeks until Darrell gets home. I can't wait. I need a break! For those who don't know. My husband Darrell works over seas, Doha Qatar to be exact. He's gone 3 months and home 2 weeks. So I'm raising my children by myself. I can't wait till he comes home for good. It can be So challenging at times and I never get a break. Oh well I guess thats motherhood.
